You are describing life!
We live our lives in cycles. At the beginning of each cycle life is good and we feel in control. Then things happen to disturb our peace.
We get to a point where we no longer feel in control because there is so much conflict and stuff that we have to deal with.
We deal with the stuff because we have no option. Even when we try to postpone or delay things, life remains upside down until we deal with the challenges that come our way.
Then we find resolution and finally peace and gratitude, and we are older and wiser. We are finally at peace again and functioning at a higher level.
That is the end of the cycle - but also the beginning of the next cycle which brings its own challenges.
These cycles last anywhere between 7 and 9 years. Between the cycles is a bit of a no-man’s-land where you are out of the cycle that has become easy, but not yet into the new cycle that looks insurmountable from where you stand.
Trust me – the new cycle becomes easier as you learn to cope with the new challenges. You have no option – you have to, because that is life and the consequence of the choices we make and the resulting growth.
The best you can do is to ensure that you learn from your experiences and move forward all the time.
