Feast of the Holy Family - Catholic

The Feast of the Holy Family originated in the 17th century, and was instituted in the Catholic Church by Pope Leo XIII in 1893. 

Since 1969 the feast is celebrated on the Sunday after Christmas or on 30th December if Christmas falls on a Sunday. 

The feast focuses on Jesus and his parents Mary and Joseph.
